Philips Lumea IPL does not damage the skin when used according to the instructions for use, on suitable skin tones and skin areas. Philips Lumea is designed to provide safe and effective hair reduction while minimizing the risk of skin reactions.
Details: Philips Lumea IPL is designed to target the hair root while protecting the surrounding skin. When used as directed in the user manual (including selecting the correct intensity and only treating suitable skin tones and hair colors) it is generally well tolerated by the skin.
Some people may experience temporary skin reactions, like mild redness, warmth, itching or discomfort after the treatment. These reactions are generally mild and transient. With its built-in safety features and guided use, Lumea helps reduce the risk of skin reactions and allows you to treat your skin with confidence at home.
