How to clean the permanent filter (For HD7900/50 only)

Plug in the appliance.
Open the filter holder to access the ground funnel chute.
Turn on the coffee machine.
Press the clean button on the machine's control panel.
Select the brush setting on the display screen.
Press the start button. This will cause the ground funnel chute flap to open, allowing you to clean the chute with a brush.
Use a brush to remove any coffee grounds or residue that may have accumulated in the chute. (see image below).
After cleaning the chute, press the start button again to close the flap.

Turn the container selector knob to the unlocked icon.
Open and remove the bean container.
Use a brush to remove any coffee grounds or residue that may have accumulated in the grinder.
After cleaning, close the bean container and lock the container selector knob.
