'Fill water tank' message on my Saeco PicoBaristo Deluxe Espresso Machine will not go away

Is the water tank filled with water, but your Saeco PicoBaristo keeps displaying the 'fill water tank' message? Use these steps to solve the issue.

Your PicoBaristo Deluxe Espresso Machine is requesting to vent the machine, not only to fill the water tank. Vent the machine with hot water to clear this message. You can do this by simply dispensing hot water, using the following steps.

  1. Turn on your espresso machine
  2. Fill the water tank with water
  3. Insert the hot water dispensing spout
  4. Press the play/stop-button to dispense hot water
  5. The message disappears and the machine is ready for use.
