To clean the water tank of your Philips Steam Generator Iron, follow these steps: 1. Pour hot water into the water tank. 2. Shake the water tank to loosen any residue. 3. For a more thorough cleaning, use a bottle brush to scrub the inside of the water tank.
Note: Avoid using detergent, as it may affect the performance of the appliance.
Cleaning the water tank of your iron
Follow the steps below to clean the water tank of your Philips Steam Iron:
1) Fill in the water tank half way with warm water and shake it carefully.
2) Empty it and rinse well with fresh water (do not use detergent).
Note:Algae can form when water remains in your iron’s tank for a long time. Emptying your Philips Steam Iron’s water tank regularly will prevent the formation of algae or residues.
